At Drayton Manor High School, all teaching staff play an active role in supporting and promoting Careers Education by integrating subject-specific career insights into the curriculum and delivering careers-focused workshops during Tutor time.
Backed by unlimited support from the dedicated Careers Team, staff are equipped to guide students effectively. The Careers Team remains committed to providing personalised support, ensuring that both students and staff have access to tailored resources and guidance for successful career planning.

Preparing for the future has never been more important. At Drayton Manor, we are committed to providing exceptional Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) to help students navigate their journey toward fulfilling career paths. Our robust careers program is integrated across all year groups through lessons, tutor periods, trips, visits, and invaluable work experience opportunities.
With the Government requiring all young people in England to remain in education or training until the end of the academic year in which they turn 18, careers guidance plays a critical role in shaping successful futures.

One to one career guidance
We offer personalised support to ensure every student feels confident about their future.

Careers Advisor - Available every Tuesday and Friday for one-on-one interviews.

Head of Futures and Careers - Offers expert advice on higher education, training opportunities, and career pathways.

National Careers Service - Students can access additional guidance through the National Careers Service website, including advice tailored for parents to support their children in career planning, parents can access the Parent Adviser section, providing guidance with how best to support students when they're making decisions about a career.
